Made from DuPont Kalrez 7075 perfluoroelastomer. Extensive experimenting with this material and use in our UltraSonic Rx Damping Instruments have confirmed this material to be superb at absorbing micro-vibrations and providing superior decoupling between surfaces subject to extreme heat. Though the material is very expensive, it's excellent for mounting transformers and other audio electronic applications. Washers are flexible and compliant yet more firm than standard grungebuster washers. Thickness is .060" (1.52mm) with a continuous service temperature of 620° F (327° C). |

Hand-made dielectric fiber washers snap into place laterally, between spade and tightening nut. Smooths out harsh microphonic vibrations; partially decouples nut from signal path, allowing a more-direct signal; reduces risk of stripping threads; provides a generally "tighter" yet expansive musical result. For 1/4" or 5/16" posts. Washer is very firm, slightly flexible, .062" thick.
